About the Role
Movement is Life is seeking a creative, strategic, and collaborative Podcast & Multimedia Producer to lead the planning, production, promotion, and growth of two flagship podcast series: Health Disparities and Let’s Talk About Health. This is more than an editing position—you’ll be telling meaningful stories, researching emerging topics, identifying compelling guests, creating engaging multimedia content, and helping grow a national platform dedicated to improving women’s health and mobility.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire content lifecycle—from concept to publication—for both podcast series
- Partner with leadership to develop editorial vision and strategy for podcast series
- Research emerging trends, public policy, women’s health topics, and community issues
- Develop annual and seasonal content calendars
- Research, identify, and recruit engaging guests from healthcare, philanthropy, research, advocacy, and community leadership
- Prepare guest research, interview questions, and host briefing materials
- Produce high-quality audio and video content
- Develop promotional campaigns and fulfill sponsor activations
- Analyze audience engagement and growth metrics
- Support media projects for the annual summit and national programs
- Collaborate with Executive Director, Director of Strategy & Impact, national staff, and external partners

Position Details
- Employment Type: Contract, Part-Time
- Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility around recording schedules, occasional evenings, and special events
- Location: Remote (Detroit-area candidates encouraged; occasional in-person office days)
- Travel: Occasional travel required for the Movement is Life Annual Summit and select events
- Reports To: Executive Director
