After making history with its 1968 television debut, 60 MINUTES is expanding both on broadcast and offline. Seth Doane, senior foreign correspondent for CBS News, will present 60 MINUTES: A SECOND LOOK, which premieres on Tuesday, September 17.

Using never-before-heard audio from interviews with some of the key figures who have shaped our culture and witnessed seismic moments in American history, the new podcast takes listeners on a journey through the newsmagazine's vault using rare archival treasures. Aside from 60 MINUTES correspondents, prominent figures from the interviews will join Doane in each edition to offer fresh perspectives and context to the stories behind the stories. Every Tuesday, new episodes of the 12-episode series will premiere.

A look at the Secret Service after President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963, reporting on Taylor Swift's rise in the years prior to her "Eras Tour" becoming the first in history to gross more than $1 billion, and new interview clips from Lorne Michaels, whose "Saturday Night Live" celebrates its 50th season this fall, are all included in the first season.

In addition, the first season will discuss how Silicon Valley came to be associated with technology, Alice Roosevelt Longworth, the first influential person of the 20th century, the development of book banning in the US, and other topics. Senior producer Matthew Polevoy of 60 MINUTES oversees 60 MINUTES: A SECOND LOOK along with his group. The inaugural sponsor is Audible.
