The cost per thousand, or CPM, rates for the Libsyn ads were just released. Libsyn Ads offers creators, advertisers, and agencies all-inclusive podcast advertising solutions. These rates are released on a monthly basis.

The purpose of the company's data release is to enable the podcaster and advertiser communities to easily track market prices and to offer more information about podcasting advertising as a revenue stream. The information is based on real sales information from Libsyn Ads' thousands of shows.The average CPM rate for a 60-second advertisement spot in April 2024 was $21.75. This figure represents a slight decrease from the same month last year (April 2023 avg. CPM rate: $22.76) and this month (March 2024 avg. CPM rate: $21.94).In April, the top three CPM categories according to delivered advertising were: 

• Technology: $27%

• Education: $25

• Comedies: $24.
