Australian Podcast Awards Celebrate the Best of Business, True Crime, and Rising Stars

The 2023 Australian Podcast Awards (APAs) powered by iHeart announced 30 category winners.

The powerful True Crime podcast The Lawyer, the Sniper & the NSW Police won Podcast of the Year. A popular podcast featuring powerful testimonies from two NSW Police survivors won the Best Interview Podcast award.

Australia Podcast Awards multi-year winners Laura Byrne and Brittany Hockley's Life Uncut won Podcast Champion. Kat and Latisha Clark's Basically Besties won listeners' choice.

Multi-nominated ‘She's On The Money’ topped the Business podcasts due to the rising popularity of business, finance, and ‘money saving’ audio shows. Inside The Tribe won the True Crime category, while The Hook Up won the Sex & Relationships category over ‘It’s a Lot with Abbie Chatfield’ and ‘Life Uncut’.

New podcasts and talent were recognised, with Finding Ruby - The Fight of My Life winning Best New Podcast and Grace Valerie-Lynette winning Rising Star.
