Edison Research is pleased to reveal this week the Top 50 US podcasts among weekly listeners (13+) for the first quarter of 2024. The only podcast measurement service available in the United States that calculates the relative audience sizes of all podcast networks and podcasts—including those that have chosen not to participate in other industry rankers—is Edison Podcast MetricsTM. From Q4 2023 to Q1 2024, The Joe Rogan Experience, Crime Junkie, and The Daily are still ranked in the top three. 🚨 Nielsen Analysis: Disney Tops TV Usage, YouTube Ranks Third.

The Media Distributor Gauge is a first-of-its-kind cross-platform view of total TV consumption across broadcast, cable, and streaming, compiled and ranked by media company. Nielsen is a global leader in audience measurement, data, and analytics.

With this new understanding, the divisions between traditional and streaming television are eliminated, and all content providers are placed on an even playing field, enabling a wider range of TV viewing options. In addition to The GaugeTM report for April 2024, which is described below, a new view is also being released.

A new partnership between Creative Artist Agency (CAA), an artist agency, and Veritone, an AI tech company, will give podcast hosts access to a virtual storage centre for their digital assets.
