Editorial Planeta in Spain notices Podster
The Italian programme "I Dossier del Mistero" has been purchased by Editorial Planeta, according to Podster, a Danish startup committed to help podcast content traverse international borders. The podcast's Spanish version has just become available to users.
The recently formed partnership between Podster and Editorial Planeta presents a special potential for both businesses. While Editorial Planeta continues to offer their consumers high-quality material and forges ties to the Nordic countries, Podster is able to create a presence in Spain as one of their first markets.
It is not surprising that I Dossier del Mistero caught Editorial Planeta's attention right away. The podcast stands out from other offerings on the market because it combines a genuine crime story with an audio drama. You can delve into the enigmas surrounding Slenderman, the Circleville Letters, the Dyatlov Pass, and other topics in the audio series.
Storylands Factory created the first version of I Dossier del Mistero. When the podcast originally debuted, it immediately climbed to the top of the Italian charts.
Henriette Hj Gharib, the CEO of Podster, declares, "Working with Planeta has been a pleasure. We are hoping that the listeners will enjoy this creation so that we may work together more to provide Spain, where the music industry is really developing, with excellent content.
"We were instantly impressed by Podster's diverse selection of true crime podcasts, which we believe nicely aligns with the interests of our audience. Since the Danish company has so much fantastic content to offer, we're hoping that this production is only the start of our partnership with them," says Laura Guilera, Planeta's manager of the digital catalogue.
In order to translate the Italian podcast to Spanish, Podster worked with the Spanish production company Kilohercios & Decibelios. The owners of Kilohercios & Decibelios, or KHZDB, are Milton Font and Benjamn Figueres. They have worked with RTÉ and Third Ear to create shows like the Audible original "La Carga" and "El Vagabundo Asesino."
