Food Network, TLC, HGTV and More to be Distributed by Acast in Exciting New Partnership"

Warner Bros. Discovery has signed a new agreement with Acast, the largest independent podcast provider in the world, to become the exclusive podcast distribution and monetization partner for certain brands. Curiosity Daily, Food Network Obsessed, A Ghost Ruined My Life with Eli Roth, and other podcasts from the Food Network, TLC, HGTV, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel, and Travel Channel will now be available on Acast.
"The premium Warner Bros. Discovery podcast slate has something for everyone, from spine-chilling true crime stories to delectable cooking content and everything in between. Veronika Taylor, SVP Creator Network at Acast, stated, "We at Acast look forwards to connecting these incredible stories with more listeners and advertisers around the world.
Since 2020, Acast has hosted and made money from Investigation Discovery content from Warner Bros. Discovery, which includes popular true crime podcasts like Disappeared, Unravelled, and Mind of a Monster.
According to Lisa DeCanio, Vice President of Podcasts at Warner Bros. Discovery, "Our experience with Acast and their technology-driven approach to monetizing and growing audiences for our true crime content with Investigation Discovery was a proven success, making it easy to choose them as a partner to represent the rest of our select slate."
This information follows the recent partnership between Acast and Luminary, which will see Luminary Originals podcasts distributed across all listening platforms. These two significant partnerships in the media sector demonstrate Acast's commitment to maintaining and expanding the open ecosystem of podcasting by carrying on with the distribution of top-notch content that listeners can enjoy wherever they access their podcasts.
