Klaxon AI, an innovative automated podcast creation and publishing platform, has secured funding from Innovate UK to develop a self-serve podcast advertising creation system for small business owners.

• The Cambridgeshire, UK-based start-up is running a five-month project to develop a service where any person who wants to create their own professional audio advert quickly and easily, without a studio, could do it.

• This was funding provided by the Creative Catalyst programme from Innovate UK.

• Afterwards, users can select preferred topic, length, frequency, language and voice. In just a few minutes, the software will finalize a podcast. Through ads, just like with the YouTube model, makers will get paid as people listen.

The Mission:

"Our mission is to democratize podcasting by allowing everybody to rapidly produce a podcast without expensive equipment, technical expertise, a script, or even a broadcast voice," Klaxon AI co-founder and CEO Arup Biswas said.

He added that although podcasts are the fasting-growing medium globally, it's time-consuming, hard, and expensive to create them; this leads to many creators giving up before their fourth episode goes out.
