💥"One Minute Remaining" Uses AI to Deliver Popular Podcast to Spanish-Speaking Audiences in Collaboration with Acast and Wondercraft

The top independent podcast company in the world, Acast, Wondercraft, an AI-powered creative audio studio, and the popular true crime podcast "One Minute Remaining" are teaming up to bring the English-language show to Spanish-speaking listeners worldwide. With its distinctive take on the true crime genre and its feature-length interviews with American prisoners, "One Minute Remaining," hosted by former Australian radio personality Jack Laurence, has captured the attention of viewers. The show's widespread appeal is demonstrated by the impressive four million downloads it has received since its September 2022 launch. Laurence welcomed the idea of translating his podcast into Spanish, seeing it as a way to reach a wider audience.

"During a visit to the Acast offices in Sydney, Guy (Acast Australia's head of content) suggested exploring a Spanish version," Laurence said. "While I was initially hesitant about AI in the creative space, the technology has proven incredible, allowing my show to be accessible to Spanish speakers while preserving my voice and creative vision."
