• The top podcasting platform for creators and advertisers, Liberated Syndication Inc. (also known as "Libsyn"), today revealed its February 2024 podcast advertising rates, which include the highest and most accessible CPM categories.

• Serial's 2014 debut attracted millions of podcast listeners. The New York Times and Serial Productions say a nine-episode season will premiere March 28 to celebrate that milestone. • Based on estimates provided by Magellan AI, AT&T ranked tenth in the category for podcast advertising during the fourth quarter, having spent $6.5 million on the medium. • It seems that Gimlet, Parcast, and Ringer Unions were unable to come to an agreement with Spotify management. While 100% of Gimlet's team is prepared to leave, Ringer Union claims that only 86% of its members are.

• The Earbuds Podcast Collective, a podcast recommendation engine that lets listeners submit carefully chosen content, has a new, slick website.

• Most radio ads are bought and sold based on audience size and demographics, but Audacy is working with Claritas to explore new ways to approach the medium. That includes holistic audio platform measurement, AI-powered tools, and data-driven automated optimisations.

• "Black Box," a narrative podcast series by The Guardian that examines the collision between artificial intelligence and humans, debuts.
  
  
  

• SiriusXM has announced several podcast leadership changes, including the return of Sarah van Mosel as Senior VP of Podcast Strategy, who will procure new content and talent for the network.

• This month, Pionaire Podcasting hired Ben Juster as Vice President of Podcasting Operations, its second executive. Juster was iHeartMedia's Podcast Sales Operations Director for two years.
