Spotify today announced a star-studded lineup for series three of The Louis Theroux Podcast. The new season gets underway on Tuesday, September 24.

Presented by Louis Theroux, one of Britain's best-loved interviewers, it features some of the biggest and most interesting names you'll see this year. Louis will always connect with his high-profile guests with his inimitable blend of sensitivity, humor, and sincerity, from Barry Keoghan, Tracey Emin, Katie Price, Trevor Noah, Nick Kyrgios, and Headie One.

You can watch a trailer for the new season here.

The first episode features a powerful interview with US media personality and former adult film star, Mia Khalifa. In a no-holds-barred episode packed with revelations, Louis speaks to Mia about the fallout from a controversial video from her past, which ignited both fame and fierce criticism. She also addresses her decision to avoid travelling to certain countries due to security risks linked to this controversy. Unfiltered and candid, Mia also discusses her journey to authenticity despite online backlash, as well as talking politics, mental health, relationships and her experiences with OnlyFans.

The Louis Theroux Podcast has drawn listeners worldwide since it originally launched in 2023, topping both the Spotify and Apple charts. Previous series of the podcast created headlines following revelations from the likes of Shania Twain, Nick CaveBelle DelphinePaul Mescal, Sharon StoneJennette McCurdy and Amelia Dimoldenberg.

Listeners can expect more in-depth chats, intriguing revelations and, of course, a signature 'awkward moment' (or two) to keep things interesting.

Louis said of the show’s return: “Here we go again. More chats, more probing, more laughs and maybe even a few tears here and there. There’s something very special about the podcast interview, particularly the warmth and intimacy you get when listening, so I can’t wait to get back to it with some fascinating guests. I’d love it if you joined us.”

In celebration of the new series, Spotify is offering listeners the opportunity to win tickets to an exclusive evening with Louis Theroux in central London on Monday 23rd September. Louis will be joined by fellow podcaster and childhood friend Adam Buxton who will take the audience on a journey through some of Louis’ most iconic, controversial and hilarious interview moments of all time. Audiences will also see never-seen-before clips from the new series.
