Transcripts will be generated and displayed automatically by Apple Podcasts starting in the spring.

This will make it simpler for everyone to access podcasts, according to the company, which is dedicated to creating the best goods and services for everyone.

According to Apple, the audio portion of a podcast will be accessible right away after it is posted. However, there will be a "brief delay" while the transcript is being processed. Additionally, it states that Apple Podcasts will not show the audio segments that have changed since the original transcription if there are any changes made to dynamically inserted audio. The transcripts do not include lyrics to any songs.

Podcast transcripts in English, Spanish, French, and German will be accessible with iOS 17.4, and back catalogue episodes will be added soon.
