Crime House announced Money Crimes, a PAVE Studios-powered original podcast, today. Nicole Lapin, a financial expert and bestselling author, hosts this captivating true crime series about the world's worst financial crimes, from cutthroat con artists to billion-dollar scams and murder.
Each episode takes listeners behind the headlines of infamous high-stakes, white-collar crimes such as Elizabeth Holmes, the Bling Ring and the FTX Collapse. In addition to exploring these twisted stories, Nicole will also equip listeners with practical advice on how to avoid becoming the victim of one.
“Money Crimes is about exposing the dark underbelly of the financial world—where ambition, deceit, and greed collide. I’m excited to collaborate with Crime House to bring these gripping stories to life and give listeners the advice they need to help protect themselves in a world where financial crime is all too real,” said Nicole Lapin.
Money Crimes will start with a limited two-part episode series The Billionaire Boys Club on Thursday, September 12. What began as an exclusive investment club for LA’s young elite quickly spiraled into a deadly Ponzi scheme. As their plan unraveled, desperation led to murder, exposing the cracks in what they believed was the perfect crime and paving the way for their inevitable downfall.
“We’re excited to partner with Nicole Lapin, one of the top creators in the business space, to bring her innovative storytelling and expertise to Crime House and the true crime genre. Money Crimes delivers compelling true crime stories alongside valuable educational insights, offering a unique blend of storytelling and financial expertise. Whether you're into heart-pounding true crime or seeking valuable financial knowledge, this show has you covered, meeting the growing demand for podcasts that both entertain and inform,” said Max Cutler, Founder of PAVE Studios.
New episodes of Money Crimes will be available every Thursday on all major podcast platforms. Follow Crime House on social media @crimehouse for updates and to stay connected.
