📻Enthusiasm Low for Presidential Election: Podcast Data

Voter enthusiasm for the presidential election is low, according to surveys. It may explain why news podcasts, which usually have an election-year boost, have had softer listening trends this year. Edison Research found that News fell to third place in weekly podcast listeners 13 and older, behind Comedy and Society & Culture. True Crime and Sports remain in the top five, while Education, Business, Religion & Spirituality, and TV & Film swapped positions in the top ten between the fourth and first quarters. [Read more]
