You upload one long recording (MP4, MOV or WebM, up to 3 hours and 2 GB). shortshort transcribes it word by word, picks passages of 15 to 90 seconds that open and close on a complete sentence (the length may drift up to 25% from the target rather than cut a thought in half), reframes each one to 9:16 by tracking the face on screen while keeping wide two-shots and screen shares full-frame, captions every word in one of four styles, and exports MP4 1080×1920 at 30 fps. Every proposal stays editable before rendering, and the manual editor plus its MP4 export work without an account. Pricing is per minute of source video rather than per clip: 1 credit = 1 minute whatever the number of clips, 60 credits free at sign-up with no card, then 12, 29 or 79 EUR a month. Clips per video: 3 on the free plan, 5, 10 or 20 on paid plans. It does not dub or translate, does not publish to social, has no virality score, adds no B-roll and exports 9:16 only.
