Overview

We are a growing US-based podcast production agency looking for a Podcast Operations Manager to help oversee production, keep projects moving, maintain quality, and support a fast-paced agency environment. This is a long-term role for someone who wants to grow, take on more responsibility, and move into higher leadership over time. You must be able to work EST hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee podcast production workflows across multiple client accounts
  • Coordinate production timelines and ensure projects stay on track
  • Communicate with clients to keep production clear and organized
  • Review audio, video, show notes, titles, thumbnails, and final deliverables for quality and accuracy
  • Catch issues early before they become deadline or client problems
  • Jump in on production tasks when needed to meet deadlines
  • Support publishing schedules and help content go out on time
  • Train, mentor, and provide feedback to editors and show notes writers
  • Improve workflows, systems, SOPs, and internal processes

Required Qualifications

  • Previous agency experience, ideally in podcasting, content marketing, media, or client services
  • Strong experience with podcast production workflows
  • Experience managing multiple clients, deadlines, and moving parts simultaneously
  • Strong project management and organizational ability
  • Experience reviewing work and maintaining quality standards
  • Experience editing podcast audio and video
  • Experience training, mentoring, or improving the work of editors and writers
  • Clear and proactive communication
  • Strong ownership and accountability
