Seeing a security warning? That's normal.
Podwires is a new app and hasn't yet built reputation with Apple or Microsoft's security systems. The app is safe — here's how to run it on your platform:
macOS — "App is damaged" or "unidentified developer"
Quickest way:
- Right-click the app → click Open
- A dialog appears — click Open again
If that doesn't work:
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
- Scroll down — you'll see a message about Podwires being blocked
- Click Open Anyway
Windows — "Windows protected your PC"
SmartScreen shows this warning for new apps that haven't yet built a reputation with Microsoft. It will go away automatically as more people install Podwires.
- Click "More info" (small text link below the warning)
- Click "Run anyway"
