A workshop series hosted by podcast producer Corey Green will guide participants through the process of planning a new podcast or taking an existing show to the next level, with sessions scheduled for July and August.
The interactive workshop, which runs for one hour each session, uses a collaborative planning process that Green has successfully employed with multiple clients. During each session, participants’ names are drawn randomly, and the entire group works together to plan one selected podcast while others learn by contributing to the process, according to the event listing on Humanitix.
Corey Marie Green is a podcast producer and audio engineer who specializes in audio storytelling, community building, and accessibility. She authored “The Podcaster’s Audio Handbook: A Technical Guide for Creative People” and has worked with multiple podcast clients to develop and refine their projects.
The workshop is designed for two audiences: those with podcast ideas seeking guidance on bringing their concepts to life, and established podcasters looking to advance their shows to the next level. The collaborative format ensures that all participants gain value, either through having their podcast planned by the group or by learning the planning process through assisting others.
Participants will learn the strategic steps necessary to launch or improve a podcast, including planning methodologies and best practices. The workshop leverages group input and diverse perspectives to strengthen podcast concepts and development strategies.
The event is offered online via Zoom, with access credentials shared to participants the day before each session. Three sessions are scheduled: Sunday, July 19 at 10 p.m. MST; Sunday, July 26 at 10 p.m. MST; and Sunday, August 2 at 10 p.m. MST. Each session runs for one hour. Refunds are available up to one day prior to any event date.
The event is hosted through Humanitix, a ticketing platform that dedicates 100 percent of profits from booking fees to charitable organizations. The platform emphasizes social impact alongside event management functionality.
