About This Role

As an Account Director for Podcasts at SiriusXM, you will drive revenue growth and long-term customer retention across our portfolio of podcast publishers. You’ll own high-value, complex relationships and translate business goals into scalable solutions. Working closely with Business Development, Technical Account Management, Product, and Solution Engineers teams, you’ll expand platform adoption, unlock new monetization opportunities, and position AdsWizz as a strategic technology partner in the podcast ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of high-value, complex client relationships to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify new business opportunities, expand existing relationships, and increase revenue
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet clients’ needs and exceed expectations
  • Analyze client data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and inform account strategy
  • Negotiate renewals and new deals with clients, ensuring profitable and mutually beneficial agreements
  • Serve as a strategic member of the Podcast Business team and lead discussions with cross-functional teams and upper management
  • Coach project owners through project duration; apply escalation pressure when needed to drive projects forward
  • Communicate business successes, wins, and issues within the department and to various stakeholders
  • Anticipate changes to technology and process; prepare the team to adapt
  • Explore new technologies and build roadmaps for implementing innovations into workflows

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of experience in account management, sales, or related field with proven success managing complex client relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of the advertising industry, market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and increase customer satisfaction through strategic planning and execution
  • Ability to quickly learn and develop deep understanding of complex products and services
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Slack, Jira, and Google Office Suite
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment in complex situations while maintaining trust-based relationships
  • Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT or Gemini
  • Legal right to work in the U.S.
