Position Overview

The Daily Wire is seeking a talented and driven Associate Podcast Producer to join our team. In this role, you’ll serve as the Associate Producer on an assigned show, working closely with on-air talent to build strong, collaborative relationships and help grow the brand in a fast-paced, dynamic media landscape.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Producers with daily tasks such as show prep, segment prep, filming, and delivery of video and audio content, including material for radio, podcasts, marketing, and social media
  • Arrange notes for the crew daily
  • Research and prepare material for productions
  • Facilitate the arrivals of in-studio guests for productions
  • Assist Producers with development, pre-production, production, and post-production for long-form and short-form videos, including documentary, interview, and commentary formats
  • Assist with booking crew, show hosts, talent, and guests
  • Work with the Production team to ensure quality and timely work
  • Travel as needed with members of the Production team for remote shows and segments

Experience & Requirements

  • 2+ years of similar work experience in a professional production environment preferred
  • Previous experience and proven track record in video and podcast production
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to appropriately take initiative
  • Working knowledge of the current political landscape
  • Avid follower of news, politics, and cultural commentary across all media platforms
  • Resourceful with a high sense of urgency
  • Familiar with Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and AfterEffects
  • Familiar with all aspects of post-production for video and film
