About the Role
SiriusXM is seeking a Part-Time Audio Editor to join the DC Sports Newsroom. In this role, you’ll be responsible for editing and producing high-quality audio content for one of North America’s leading audio entertainment platforms. You’ll work with a dynamic team dedicated to delivering compelling sports news and programming to millions of listeners across SiriusXM’s platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and post-produce audio content for sports news programming
- Ensure audio quality meets SiriusXM’s industry-leading standards
- Collaborate with newsroom producers and on-air talent
- Manage turnaround times for daily sports content
- Maintain technical equipment and audio systems
- Troubleshoot audio issues and implement solutions
Requirements
- Proficiency in audio editing software and DAWs
- Experience in radio, podcast, or broadcast audio production
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of sports content is a plus
