JAR Audio is seeking an experienced Audio Editor to contribute to creative branded podcast projects. This full-time contract position (minimum 6 months) with potential to transition to permanent employment will report to both the Technical Director and Chief Creative Officer. The role is 100% remote based in Canada.
- 2+ years experience in podcasting (recording, editing, mixing, mastering)
- Expert in editing and mixing multitrack dialogue, audio repair, and noise removal
- Confident managing virtual recording studio sessions and audio quality control
- Capable of directing hosts and guests to achieve best sound quality
- Experience with music selection and sequencing for podcasts
- Strong task prioritization and time management for multiple overlapping projects
- Quick to learn new tools and platforms
- Collaborative team player approach
Recent clients include Amazon, Cirque du Soleil, Staffbase, T-Mobile, Genome BC, American Express, and Royal Bank of Canada.
