Leonardo Audio/Nor’easter Publishing – Audio Engineer
You’ll be running audio production sessions on-site for audiobooks, video games, commercial campaigns, e-learning projects, etc.
A terrific entry position into audio engineering. Can be a gateway for either other audio production/editing positions in film/TV, or to ascend with the audio publishing industry.
On location in Cambridge, MA. Office is on Mass Ave between MIT and Harvard.
Some editing and mastering work can be done from your home computer anywhere.
$20/hr to start, negotiable based on experience, with a general standing availability of 3 days/week required. Increase in wage and hours available as we grow, with increased proficiency and additional skill sets. Also, 15% commission can be earned from selling studio rentals.
A related degree is encouraged.
Must have a basic understanding of audio engineering and DAWs (we’re using ProTools or Reaper), and basic editing and mastering skills.
Audiobook listeners and/or video game players preferred.
