Position Overview
Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. We are seeking a Music Audio Expert with German language proficiency to evaluate AI model outputs and contribute to music generation technology development. This contract position offers up to 6 months of work with flexible commitment of 10+ hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model output lyrics, voice generation, and other standards across different music categories
- Score the quality of musical training data to enhance model performance
- Write music in the domain language (German), ensuring high-quality outputs
- Understand and follow directions in English for effective collaboration
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a music producer, audio engineer, and/or sound mixer
- College degree in music, involving both performance, theory, and lyrics
- Native or near-native proficiency in both German and English
Preferred Qualifications
- Evidence of understanding musical performance, theory, and lyrics
- Past experience writing lyrical music in German
