Audio Engineer
Crossing Hurdles is hiring an Audio Engineer to join our remote team. You will work on audio projects including podcast editing, audio restoration, and quality assurance across a diverse range of audio content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and mix podcast and audio content to professional standards
- Perform audio restoration and cleaning on existing recordings
- Conduct audio quality assurance and testing on projects
- Provide descriptive captioning and transcription services
- Collaborate with producers and content creators to achieve desired audio quality
- Maintain accurate documentation of audio projects and revisions
Requirements
- Proven experience in audio annotation, descriptive captioning, or transcription
- Demonstrated background in podcast or audio editing
- Strong audio QA and quality control skills
- Strong background in audio restoration techniques
- Proficiency with professional audio editing software
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
