Position Overview
Advisors Excel is seeking a dynamic, experienced Audio Producer to join the Media Solutions Group. You will help craft the sound of weekly radio shows and podcasts for financial advisors. We’re looking for someone who knows how to create compelling audio and deliver strong work on tight deadlines, with sound editorial judgment, attention to detail, and a problem-solving attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, edit, and produce long-form infotainment radio shows and podcasts, complete with music and production effects
- Deliver final long-form radio show products to appropriate radio stations on or before deadline
- Collaborate with hosts and advisors on all aspects of production
- Assemble radio equipment for advisors and assist through radio onboarding phase
- Work with various software programs and internal/external staff to setup remote studios and assist with show recordings
- Edit and produce short-form commercial programming as needed
- Support video podcast production and publish finalized content to YouTube
- Identify ways to improve workflow, turnaround times, and team productivity
Required Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in audio production, podcasting, radio, or related field
- Hands-on experience recording, editing, and producing audio content
- Working knowledge of audio equipment, microphones, mixers, and recording setups
- Experience meeting deadlines in fast-paced production environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with hosts, advisors, and cross-functional partners
- Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
Bonus Qualifications
- Proficiency with Adobe Audition
- Experience editing video content using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar software
- Familiarity with remote recording workflows and virtual studio setups
- Experience onboarding non-technical talent in audio production environments
