The New Zealand Herald is seeking an Audio & Video Engineer to join their Auckland-based engineering team, supporting the systems that power some of New Zealand’s most widely consumed media content, including podcasts and digital video.
- Support and maintain audio and video production systems and infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across broadcast and podcast production workflows
- Collaborate with editorial and production teams to ensure seamless delivery of audio and video content
- Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of technical systems
This is a hands-on technical role ideal for a skilled engineer with experience in broadcast, podcast, or digital media environments. Knowledge of audio engineering tools, video production systems, and live streaming infrastructure will be highly regarded. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic media team at one of New Zealand’s most recognised news brands.
