About the Role
TruHeight Vitamins is seeking a Director of Social Media to lead influencer marketing, organic social, TikTok Shop strategy, and creator partnerships. This is a player-coach role where you’ll set strategy, manage external agencies and creators, negotiate contracts, and execute day-to-day initiatives. You’ll report directly to the co-founders and collaborate with media buying, design, email, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Influencer Marketing & Creator Partnerships: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with influencers and content creators across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Structure deliverable-based compensation, negotiate contract terms, and track performance metrics.
- TikTok Shop & Affiliate Program: Own end-to-end TikTok Shop strategy including product listings, affiliate commission structures, GMV optimization, and agency management. Interface with TikTok representatives on seller center features and promotions.
- Organic Social Media: Set content strategy across TruHeight accounts, manage and develop team members, drive follower growth and engagement, and establish content series and brand guidelines.
- Events & Activations: Coordinate product shipments, creator travel, and in-person events. Negotiate appearance fees and manage event logistics.
Requirements
- AI-native mindset with daily use of AI tools in current workflow (content ideation, video clipping, copy drafting, reporting automation)
- Proven experience managing influencer and creator relationships at scale
- Strong understanding of TikTok Shop dynamics and affiliate marketing
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
- Experience managing teams and external agencies
