Black Ocean Citizens (BLOC), a non-profit organisation focused on ocean science and conservation, is seeking a skilled end-to-end non-visual podcast producer to help bring their interview series to life. The podcast features ocean scientists and campaigners from the ethnic minority scientific community and grassroots organisations, with the client serving as interviewer.
This is a full-service production role covering the entire podcast lifecycle, from on-site recording through to editing, production, and promotion.
- On-site and remote recording support and coordination
- Audio editing and post-production to broadcast quality
- Podcast production including music, sound design, and episode assembly
- Promotion and distribution across podcast platforms
- PR and marketing support for the series
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience producing interview-format podcasts, a strong understanding of audio storytelling, and the ability to work with a non-profit client to represent a diverse scientific community authentically. Experience with podcast promotion and digital marketing is a strong advantage.
