Responsibilities include:
- Editing video and audio podcast recordings to a professional standard
- Cleaning up audio — removing background noise, filler words, and awkward pauses
- Syncing audio and video tracks and ensuring visual and sonic consistency
- Adding intro/outro sequences, lower thirds, and relevant graphics
- Delivering completed files in client-specified formats on schedule
Required qualifications:
- Significant experience editing both audio and video podcast content
- Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Audition, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output
- Ability to work independently and communicate proactively
- A portfolio of previous podcast editing work is required
