About the Role

Join a dynamic media and e-commerce team as a freelance video editor, contributing to the production of engaging food, business, and podcast content. This part-time, remote contract role focuses on editing long-form footage, including podcasts, interviews, and restaurant features, for multiple brands. You will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of new shows and ongoing projects, delivering high-quality video content optimized for social media platforms.

Deliverables

  • Edit and deliver 3–7 finished vertical or horizontal video cuts per week, including podcasts, interviews, and food-related content
  • Ensure all videos are optimized for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube
  • Incorporate animated subtitles and captions to enhance viewer engagement
  • Follow clear directions provided via an AI-assisted briefing system for each edit
  • Meet tight turnaround times of 48–72 hours per project
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent visual style across all content
  • Participate in a paid test task as part of the onboarding process

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of professional video editing experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging social media videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube
  • Experience working with animated subtitles and captions
  • Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn new technologies
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Preference for candidates with experience editing food or business creator content
  • Skills in motion graphics are highly desirable
  • Availability for 20 hours per week, with potential for increased hours as content needs grow
  • Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely
