As the dedicated audio/video editor, you will be responsible for elevating each episode to a professional standard, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engaging storytelling. The position is fully remote and ideal for editors passionate about international collaboration and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and polish podcast audio and video files for clarity, flow, and professional quality
  • Remove background noise, filler words, and technical glitches from recordings
  • Sync audio and video tracks, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment
  • Add intro/outro music, sound effects, and visual elements as needed
  • Collaborate with the podcast creator to implement feedback and maintain a consistent style
  • Prepare final files for distribution across major podcast and video platforms
  • Manage project files and maintain organized archives for future reference

Requirements

  • Proven experience editing both audio and video for podcasts or similar content
  • Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, high-quality episodes
  • Understanding of podcast production workflows and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting
  • Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
  • Interest in renewable energy, international development, or cross-cultural projects is a plus
