Freelance Video Editor – Podcast

As the dedicated audio/video editor, you will be responsible for elevating each episode to a professional standard, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engaging storytelling. The position is fully remote and ideal for editors passionate about international collaboration and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and polish podcast audio and video files for clarity, flow, and professional quality
- Remove background noise, filler words, and technical glitches from recordings
- Sync audio and video tracks, ensuring seamless transitions and alignment
- Add intro/outro music, sound effects, and visual elements as needed
- Collaborate with the podcast creator to implement feedback and maintain a consistent style
- Prepare final files for distribution across major podcast and video platforms
- Manage project files and maintain organized archives for future reference
Requirements
- Proven experience editing both audio and video for podcasts or similar content
- Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Audition, Audacity, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
- Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver polished, high-quality episodes
- Understanding of podcast production workflows and best practices
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote setting
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration
