Spotify is seeking a Mid to Senior-level Full Stack Engineer to join its Podcast engineering team. This role sits at the intersection of audio technology and product development, contributing to one of the world’s largest podcast platforms.

As a Full Stack Engineer on the Podcast team, you will build and maintain features that serve millions of podcast listeners and creators globally. You’ll work across the full technology stack, collaborating with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain robust full-stack features for Spotify’s podcast products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new product capabilities
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code across front-end and back-end systems
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
  • Help improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Engage in an agile development environment with iterative delivery cycles

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a full-stack engineer with proficiency in modern front-end and back-end technologies
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architectures
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
  • Solid communication skills and ability to work in a globally distributed team

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working on audio or media streaming platforms
  • Familiarity with podcast ecosystem tools and workflows
