👋 Hello from Juice Box Studios
We’re Juice Box Studios🧃, a creator-led narrative studio developing original stories and entertainment IP. Our Founder and CEO is Chloe Shih, a tech media personality, podcast host, and digital creator with over 2M+ followers. She makes career, creativity, and life in your 30s feel less intimidating through viral storytelling and lessons from her career at Discord, TikTok, Meta, and Google.
Our Socials: Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Podcast, TikTok
🤔 Why are we hiring?
In 2026, we launched Office Drama, a work-culture talk show featuring leaders across tech, media, and entertainment. The show joined Podcast Nation and debuted in Spotify’s Top 10 Business Podcasts. Check us out here: officedrama.pplx.app.
We’re looking for a Growth Producer to help us break through the cultural zeitgeist and build the defining media brand for modern careers.
Our Philosophy: Distribution is part of the creative process. Every title, thumbnail, hook, caption, and launch strategy shapes whether a story reaches the people it’s meant to reach. We’re looking for someone who thinks about audience from the very beginning, not just after the export finishes.
💻 What our Growth Producer will do:
→ Growth Strategy & Audience Development (40%)
- Lead initiatives to increase audience growth, retention, engagement, and discoverability.
- Analyze episode performance and reception
- Identify editorial opportunities, collaborations, cultural moments, and audience behaviors worth building around.
- Build relationships with distribution platforms and partners to unlock editorial placements and growth opportunities.
→ Packaging & Distribution (30%)
- Own titles, thumbnails, descriptions, and promotional assets across our platforms – YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.
- Manage publishing schedule across YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, ART19/Megaphone, and social platforms.
→ Project Management (20%)
- Own production timelines and coordinate cross-functional work across editors, guests, contractors, and partners.
- Run creative reviews through final approval.
→ Editorial Development (10%)
- Research guests deeply and develop interview briefs.
- Pitch timely episode concepts rooted in internet conversations, career trends, and culture.
- Package interviews into compelling narratives and stories that audiences will click on.
🥫 What You Are
→ Editorial & Creative
- You have exceptional editorial taste. You know the difference between content people watch and content people can’t stop talking about.
- You’re obsessed with storytelling, framing, and narrative tension. You instinctively rewrite headlines in your head.
- You’re an outstanding copywriter who can write titles, descriptions, LinkedIn posts, social captions, and promotional copy.
- You’re up-to-date with internet trends. Research is something you genuinely enjoy.
→ Obsessed with Growth
- You reverse-engineer great work. You study successful creators, podcasts, and media companies obsessively.
- You understand YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and emerging platforms beyond surface-level best practices.
- You think about distribution strategy as much as content strategy.
→ A Strong Operator
- You are extraordinarily organized.
- You proactively identify problems before anyone else notices them.
- You follow through relentlessly and don’t let deadlines slip.
- You thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building systems where none previously existed.
- You take radical ownership. If something falls through the cracks, your instinct is to figure out how to prevent it from happening again.
→ Tapped Into the Culture
- You’re tech literate and genuinely interested in technology, entrepreneurship, AI, creators, media, and the future of work.
😓 This Job Isn’t For You If:
- You need clear guidance or detailed briefs to have direction. This is not an entry-level role. You need to take ambiguous, open-ended problems and run with them.
- You prefer managing over making. This is a hands-on execution role.
- You’re uncomfortable wearing many hats. We’re an early-stage studio and everyone is expected to own new pillars of work to get us to the next stage.
- You don’t work well in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities evolve quickly.
- You’re never available on nights and weekends. In media, shoots and deadlines often happen on weekends. We plan as best as we can, but flexibility is part of the creative process.
- You’ve never had any podcasting experience. Podcasting is a very specific type of content vertical.
