About the Role
Cambridge Innovation Institute is seeking a Healthcare Editor and Podcast Manager to lead editorial strategy across our growing healthcare content portfolio. You will report and write original stories, work with external podcast hosts to set editorial direction, and manage podcasts from concept to release. This role combines hands-on journalism with strategic podcast management and operational oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Report and write original articles for IntegrativePractitioner.com (minimum two articles per week)
- Manage workflow for healthcare podcasts including Medtech Talk and Breaking Health, supporting external hosts on guest planning and production
- Develop and launch new podcasts, including concept development, format design, branding, and launch marketing
- Review finished episodes for content accuracy, technical issues, and requested edits before release
- Coordinate with in-house audio engineers on content edits and production requests
- Create marketing briefs and manage episode distribution materials for all podcasts
- Cover healthcare events including the Integrative Health Symposium and Digital Healthcare Innovation Summit
- Manage day-to-day publishing operations including CMS scheduling and press release approvals
Requirements
- Proven experience in editorial management and podcast production
- Strong journalism and writing skills with ability to report original stories
- Experience managing podcast workflows from planning through production and marketing
- Ability to work with both internal teams and external contributors
- Familiarity with healthcare, integrative medicine, or related topics preferred
- Remote work capability with willingness to travel to events as needed
