About the Role
Almost Friday Media is seeking a motivated and creative Junior Video Editor who specializes in video-first podcast editing and social content creation. As part of their dynamic content team, you will work closely with content creators, producers, and other video editors to edit high-quality video content for podcasts, social media platforms, and other digital channels. You will play an integral role in shaping the visual identity of their podcast series and social media presence, ensuring all content aligns with brand standards and engages the audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit video podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality audio and video content
- Sync audio and video, edit 3-camera shoots, and clean up audio for clarity
- Add intro/outro music, graphics, and other necessary sound edits
- Edit and produce engaging social media videos, including teaser clips and promotional videos
- Create optimized content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, and other platforms
- Collaborate with content producers, designers, and creative team members
- Repurpose longer-form podcast content into short, shareable pieces for social media
- Maintain brand guidelines and ensure content adheres to desired style and tone
- Review edits with senior team members and incorporate feedback
