Role Overview

Kace In Point Studios is a full-service multimedia company specializing in videography, photography, podcast production, and more. We are seeking a highly skilled Live Podcast Editor to edit and mix podcasts in real-time. This role is essential to alleviating the workload of our current editing team, ensuring podcasts are delivered with professional audio quality while keeping up with a fast-paced production schedule as our client base grows, particularly in podcasting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit and mix podcasts live using Rodecaster Video or Blackmagic ATEM
  • Ensure seamless audio quality during recordings, adjusting levels, removing noise, and managing multiple inputs in real-time
  • Collaborate with hosts, producers, and team members to maintain consistent sound quality and style
  • Assist with post-production editing when necessary to meet deadlines
  • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to ensure smooth recordings

Requirements

  • Proven experience in live or real-time podcast editing
  • Strong familiarity with Rodecaster Video
  • Excellent ear for audio quality, clarity, and timing
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multimedia environment
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Full-time availability and reliability are essential
