Media Systems Engineering, Regional Engineer
Media Systems Engineering helps filmmakers bring their vision to life through the design and support of all technical workstations, image and sound equipment, and playback systems across creative spaces. We are seeking a Media Systems Regional Engineer to join our Global Media Systems Engineering team as a regional anchor for a globally aligned Engineering organization—ensuring that creative and technical spaces operate reliably, consistently, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot complex audio, video, and networking systems across post-production facilities, theatrical screening rooms, QC environments, and creative spaces
- Perform routine and emergency audio and video calibrations to ensure compliance with company, theatrical, and broadcast standards
- Partner with internal network engineering teams to troubleshoot high-performance media and corporate networks, ensuring reliable A/V transport and data flow
- Support post-production pipelines and video encoding workflows
- Act as primary regional point of contact for Media Systems Engineering, providing remote, on-site, or vendor-managed assistance
- Triage technical issues, drive resolution, and escalate to specialized global teams when appropriate
- Help define service level agreements (SLAs) and escalation paths for critical rooms, screenings, and live events
- Coordinate with external vendors on hardware lifecycles, maintenance agreements, and service expectations
- Create and maintain documentation including SOPs, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides
Required Experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting post-production, studio, or creative technology infrastructure
- Strong technical expertise in audio and video systems
- Calm, professional judgment, especially in high-pressure situations
- Strong customer service instincts and ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences
- Collaborative behavior across cultures, time zones, and technical disciplines
