Morning Show Producer (Content Generator)

The Morning Show Producer supports the planning, production, and execution of The Wally Show across broadcast, podcast, video, and digital platforms. This role is responsible for daily show preparation, live broadcast support, audio and video editing, podcast production, content archiving, and select on-air contributions. Working closely with show talent and other stakeholders, the producer helps maintain a high standard of creative excellence while advancing the mission, audience engagement, and multi-platform reach of WayFM’s morning show content.

Essential Functions

  • Show Prep: Support audience connection through content creation for podcasts, social media, video, and digital platforms. Help identify, edit, and publish engaging content that extends the reach of The Wally Show beyond the live broadcast. Contribute to content that reflects the voice of the show and strengthens listener loyalty, engagement, and brand connection. Assist in creating content that serves both audience growth and donor/ministry communication needs when requested.
  • Live Production Support: Provide live production support during The Wally Show. Contribute limited on-air support, including occasional comments and assigned segments. Support show pacing, timing, and overall broadcast quality.
  • Listener Engagement: Support listener engagement initiatives and content that connects the show with its audience across multiple platforms.
