Role Description The Norwegian recording project role is a full-time remote position focused on producing high-quality audio recordings in the Norwegian language for a variety of AI, localization, and digital content projects. Day-to-day tasks may include reading and recording scripted texts, following detailed linguistic and technical guidelines, and ensuring clear pronunciation, consistent tone, and natural delivery. The role involves collaborating with project coordinators and language specialists, submitting recordings within defined deadlines, and revising or re-recording content based on feedback. The position may also include basic quality checks on recorded files, accurate completion of project-related documentation, and adherence to data security and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Norwegian (native or near-native level) and solid understanding of grammar, pronunciation, and contemporary usage.
  • Clear, pleasant speaking voice with the ability to maintain consistent tone, pacing, and articulation across recordings.
  • Basic technical skills for audio recording, including familiarity with microphones, recording software, and file formats.
  • Reliable access to a quiet recording environment and suitable equipment to produce clean, high-quality sound.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to meeting deadlines in a remote work setting.
  • Comfort working with digital platforms and documentation tools to manage tasks, upload files, and communicate with project teams.
  • Prior experience with voice recording, voice-over, linguistic projects, or AI data collection is an advantage but not required.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, respect for diverse teams and cultures, and adherence to non-discriminatory and inclusive practices.
