About The Role
Chat Sports is seeking an entertaining and opinionated sports media personality to host Lakers Report (57,000+ subscribers) and cover the NBA on a full-time basis from Chat Sports HQ in Dallas, TX. You’ll be the face of the channel on YouTube, breaking down every game, trade rumor, free agency move, and all the drama surrounding one of basketball’s biggest brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the face and voice of Lakers Report, bringing energy, strong opinions, and a must-watch presence on camera
- Collaborate with your producer to create engaging scripts, segments, and graphics
- Film multiple videos daily including live shows, breaking news, reactions, and debates covering all things Lakers
- Be live on YouTube during most Lakers games and post-game coverage
- Create content that reaches millions of fans across digital platforms
What We’re Looking For
- Deep knowledge of the NBA, especially the Los Angeles Lakers (rosters, history, rumors, cap space, trade assets)
- On-camera experience from YouTube, podcasts, TV, or radio with confident hosting ability
- Ability to connect with fans on social media and build community around your voice
- Authentic passion for the Lakers and the ability to deliver strong, opinionated takes
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-output environments ready to work nights and weekends during NBA season
