About the Role
Versant Media is seeking an Operations Specialist to support podcasts, livestreaming, and emerging format productions across its growing multiplatform media portfolio. This is a hands-on role for someone early-career who enjoys being close to the action and solving practical production problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support livestreams, podcast tapings, and emerging-format productions across studio, field, remote, and hybrid environments
- Partner with editorial, production, and technical teams to understand and execute production vision
- Support livestreams, podcast tapings, and help teams adopt better workflows
- Solve day-to-day technical and operational problems in modern media production
- Troubleshoot technical issues, read manuals, and learn new tools and platforms quickly
- Make systems work more reliably and workflows clearer for editorial and production teams
- Support productions across news, sports, lifestyle, entertainment, and digital platforms
Requirements
- Technically curious mindset with willingness to learn new tools and platforms
- Calm under pressure with quick learning ability
- Comfortable jumping between live production, podcast workflows, troubleshooting, documentation, and training
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational improvement
- Ability to work within Operations & Technology team structure
