Part-Time Social Media Editor & Publisher (Instagram & TikTok)
Sonela Beauty is looking for a creative and results-driven Part-Time Social Media Editor & Publisher to help grow our Instagram and TikTok presence.
Responsibilities
- Edit videos provided by our team using CapCut or similar editing software
- Add trending sounds, captions, transitions, text overlays, and effects
- Optimize content based on the latest Instagram Reels and TikTok trends
- Write engaging captions and select relevant hashtags
- Schedule and publish content on Instagram and TikTok
- Reply to comments and engage with our community in a timely and professional manner
- Monitor current social media trends and recommend new content ideas
- Develop strategies to increase followers, reach, engagement, and overall account growth
- Understand and optimize content for the Instagram and TikTok algorithms
- Track content performance and provide weekly reports with recommendations
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Instagram and TikTok accounts
- Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Canva, or similar tools
- Excellent knowledge of Instagram and TikTok algorithms, trends, and best practices
- Experience growing social media accounts organically
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
- Experience with beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands is a plus
Position Details
This is a part-time role with flexible hours. You must be available to work from our New Jersey office at least one day per week, with remote work permitted for the remaining hours.
