Role Description The Part-Time Videographer & Editor (NYC Brooklyn) role is a remote position focused on producing high-quality video content that supports Attack Capital’s brand and investor communications. This is described as a full-time remote role in terms of workload expectations, but the position is classified as part-time, with flexible hours that may vary based on project needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and shooting video content, operating cameras, setting up lighting, and capturing footage for interviews, explainer videos, and social media assets. The role also involves editing video, adding graphics and basic motion elements, optimizing audio, and preparing final deliverables for digital platforms. The Videographer & Editor will collaborate with the founding team to translate investment concepts into clear, engaging visual stories that align with brand guidelines and timelines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production, including planning, shooting, and post-production workflows.
- Proficiency in camera operation and camera handling, with the ability to choose appropriate settings for different environments.
- Experience with lighting setup for interviews, talking-head videos, and product or environment shots.
- Demonstrated ability in shooting video for social media, web, and investor-facing content.
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio mixing.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail, including framing, pacing, and brand consistency.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort collaborating with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating content for finance, startups, or technology audiences is a plus.
- Access to professional or prosumer-level camera and lighting equipment preferred.
