Associate Producer, Podcasts
CBS News, part of Paramount, is seeking an Associate Producer to support the production of 48 Hours limited series podcasts. This role will be instrumental in supporting the research, booking, editing and fact-checking of narrative-documentary style podcasts.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support podcast production research and development
- Handle talent booking and guest coordination
- Assist with editing and post-production tasks
- Perform fact-checking and verification work
- Collaborate with producers and on-air talent
- Manage production timelines and logistics
Requirements
- Experience with podcast or audio production (or related field)
- Excellent organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Understanding of narrative-documentary storytelling
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
