Podcast & Content Production Internship
Join the Women of Fashion podcast as a Podcast & Content Production Intern. Women of Fashion is a podcast dedicated to early-career women building their path on the business side of the American contemporary wholesale fashion industry, hosted by Brooke, founder of AFA Staffing. This internship offers a hands-on role with real ownership during an active launch season.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to overall show strategy and guest pipeline planning
- Research and identify prospective guests aligned with the show’s focus on American contemporary wholesale fashion
- Pitch and coordinate outreach to potential guests, managing communication through the booking process
- Coordinate and schedule studio recording sessions
- Assist in developing interview research and question frameworks for each guest
- Review episode edits and provide feedback prior to release
- Identify clip-worthy moments and suggest timestamps for short-form content
- Write episode titles and show descriptions
- Attend filming sessions to capture behind-the-scenes content
What We’re Looking For
- Genuine interest in the business side of fashion wholesale, contemporary brands, buying, sales, or brand operations
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
- Organized and proactive; able to follow through without reminders
- Comfortable reaching out to industry professionals in a professional, warm tone
- Based in or able to work toward LA; remote candidates considered
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from fashion, communications, marketing, or related program
Position Details
Duration: June 2026 through December 2026 (approximately 6 months). Hours: 5-10 hours per week with flexibility around episode production schedule. Remote: 95%. In-person filming days: less than 10. This internship is available as either a paid or academic-credit position depending on candidate situation.
