RemoteRaven is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Podcast Editor to take full ownership of podcast production—from raw recordings to polished, publish-ready episodes. This is a full-time remote role that goes beyond editing, offering the opportunity to be part of a podcast from the ground up and play a key role in shaping its quality, consistency, and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit full-length podcast episodes for clean, professional audio quality
  • Remove filler words, awkward pauses, and background noise
  • Edit video versions for YouTube and social media platforms
  • Add intro/outro music, branded elements, and formatting
  • Create short-form clips and audiograms for promotional use
  • Deliver polished, publication-ready content on time
  • Collaborate on episode topics, outlines, and pre-production planning
  • Coordinate with guests and support scheduling
  • Publish episodes across major podcast platforms

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience editing podcasts or audio/video content
  • Proficiency with audio editing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Descript, Audacity)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience with video editing for YouTube and social media
  • Familiarity with podcast publishing platforms (e.g., Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Buzzsprout)

Nice to Have:

  • Experience creating audiograms and short-form promotional clips
  • Background in episode planning and guest coordination
  • Understanding of podcast growth and audience engagement strategies
