A client on Upwork is seeking a skilled Podcast Editor and Content Creator to join their team on a freelance basis. This role combines audio editing expertise with content creation skills to produce polished, engaging podcast episodes.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling the full post-production workflow — from raw audio cleanup through to final episode delivery — while also contributing to content strategy and supporting distribution efforts.
- Edit raw podcast audio for clarity, pacing, and quality
- Remove filler words, background noise, and unwanted silences
- Create accompanying content such as show notes, social media clips, or episode summaries
- Ensure consistent audio quality and branding across episodes
- Collaborate with the host to understand tone, style, and audience
- Deliver episodes on time and in required formats
Required skills include proficiency in audio editing software (Adobe Audition, Audacity, Descript, or similar), strong attention to detail, and excellent communication. Experience with content writing or social media content creation is a strong advantage.
