Hire Hangar is seeking a Podcast Editor who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, editing, and digital performance. In this role, you’ll transform long-form B2B podcast recordings into polished, high-performing audio and video content for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Spotify.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit full-length podcast episodes for audio clarity, visual flow, pacing, and tone
- Create short-form video clips tailored for YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, and TikTok
- Apply advanced post-production techniques including sound design, transitions, captions, motion graphics, and color correction
- Collaborate with producers and hosts to shape episode narratives and surface standout moments
- Maintain organized editing workflows using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Pro Tools, or DaVinci Resolve
- Optimize each asset for discoverability through thumbnails, titles, metadata, and SEO
- Use performance analytics to iterate and improve content engagement and retention
- Adapt complex technical topics for professional audiences with clarity and style
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-moving, remote environment
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years editing podcasts and/or short-form video for professional or B2B audiences
- Strong portfolio of full-length podcast edits and repurposed video clips
- Fluency in video/audio tools like Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Audition, or equivalent
- Clear understanding of platform-specific formats, pacing, and content styles
- Ability to work across teams and take feedback constructively
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and process-driven organization
- Availability during U.S. business hours (with flexibility around EST deadlines)

- Background in B2B media, SaaS, or tech content
- Familiarity with podcast SEO, YouTube analytics, and audience growth strategy
