About the Role

Join History Hit, the UK’s biggest digital history brand and part of Little Dot Studios, as a Podcast Editor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about history and podcasts to launch their career in the podcast industry. You’ll be responsible for editing 3-5 audio/video podcast episodes per week, uploading content, and collaborating with Producers and talent to create high-quality, engaging material.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and finalise 2-3 high-quality edits per week
  • Collaborate closely with the production team, including Producers and Junior Editors
  • Develop high-standard films, promotional content, and social media assets
  • Implement post-compliance editorial revisions
  • Integrate and understand the effective use of animations and graphics in edits
  • Oversee asset intake and final delivery processes

What You Need to Succeed

  • Great audio and video editing skills
  • Knowledge of History Hit and associated podcast brands
  • Genuine passion for history
  • Solid understanding of the YouTube platform
  • Collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
