About the Role
Join History Hit, the UK’s biggest digital history brand and part of Little Dot Studios, as a Podcast Editor. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about history and podcasts to launch their career in the podcast industry. You’ll be responsible for editing 3-5 audio/video podcast episodes per week, uploading content, and collaborating with Producers and talent to create high-quality, engaging material.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and finalise 2-3 high-quality edits per week
- Collaborate closely with the production team, including Producers and Junior Editors
- Develop high-standard films, promotional content, and social media assets
- Implement post-compliance editorial revisions
- Integrate and understand the effective use of animations and graphics in edits
- Oversee asset intake and final delivery processes
What You Need to Succeed
- Great audio and video editing skills
- Knowledge of History Hit and associated podcast brands
- Genuine passion for history
- Solid understanding of the YouTube platform
- Collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines
